ARTICLE 1. GENERAL

West Fries International Darts (hereafter referred to as W.F.I.D) Will have the International West Fries Open Darts Tournament return at least once a year. The name can be changed by a possible main sponsor.

ARTICLE 2. CONDITION FOR PARTICIPATION.

  • a. The W.F.I.D is for everyone, amateur or professional, regardless of membership in other darts associations or associations.
  1. b. Players who are excluded from the One80 L-Style World Masters and / or BDO WK cannot participate in the single tournament. The W.F.I.D is a WDF and BDO registered event.
  2. c. Participation in the W.F.I.D is valid after payment of the mandatory registration fees.
  3. d. An exception is for players outside the EU countries, who may pay the registration fee on the day itself, only in euros. These must have registered. If these players do not appear, the player will be held responsible for the costs incurred.

ARTICLE 3. REGISTRATIONS FOR PAIRSTOURNAMENT

 

  1. a. Participants can register up to 30 minutes before the start of the tournament, unless the maximum number has been reached at the relevant competition table or at the designated counter. The registration fee must then be paid immediately.
  2. b. Participants must report to the competition table at least 30 minutes before the tournament starts. This also applies to the participants who have registered through pre-registration. When registering after the start time of the tournament, the participant (s) will be excluded from participation.
  3. c. Participants cannot register by telephone.

 

 

ARTICLE 3.A. REGISTRATIONS FOR YOUTH WDF RANKING AND SINGLE SENIORS BDO RANKINGS

 

  1. a. Participants can only register via the website. The closing date for registration is set on the following date: Sunday, March 16, 11:59 pm 2020. After passing this date, or on the day of the tournament itself, there is no possibility to register for the afore mentioned components.
  2. b. The participant must be present on time on the day of the tournament. In the event of failure to show up on time, the organization has the right to cancel the competition and to register the non-entered participant in the event of a late appearance and to immediately remove it from the relevant section.
  3. c. The participant will therefore be removed from the first other component for which he or she is registered. Under no circumstances will registration fees be reimbursed.
  4. d. Participants have at least 30 minutes before the tournament's starting time to register and must have collected the player card. A separate table will be placed for this.
  5. e. Participants who have registered and come from non-EU countries have the opportunity to pay the registration fees at the table in euros. Other currencies are not accepted, but the participant remains responsible for the costs incurred and this must then still be paid. The player will also be legally addressed.
  1. f. Boys and girls who are 16 or 17 years old can participate in the senior tournament on Saturday. On Sunday, a choice must be made between participation by youth and participation by seniors. Both are not allowed.

 

 

  1. g. Participants in the youth tournament must be under the age of 18 on the day of the event.

This means that they must be born on March 9, 2002 or later. Participants who are 18 years or older before the event must participate in the senior tournament on the Sunday. This applies to anyone born before or on March 8, 2002. Boys and girls who are 16 or 17 years old may participate in the senior tournament scheduled for Sunday.

ARTICLE 3.B. REGISTRATIONS FOR PARADARTS AND SPECIALS

  1. a. These tournaments are organized for players with a physical or mental disability.
  2. b. To participate in the tournaments, one must fall under one of the criteria set by the WDDA (World Disability Darts Association). Not sure whether you fall under the set criteria? Then get in touch with the West Fries International Darts.
  3. c. Players must be able to demonstrate that they meet these criteria.
  4. d. Players may choose whether to throw on a board where the bull hangs at 1.37 cm or whether they throw at the regular height of 1.73 cm.
  5. e. The dress code is the same for the disabled likes the seniors.
  6. f. There are great cups and cash prizes to be won!

Article 4. Competition and rules.

 

  1. a. Regarding the competition and game rules, the official rules set by the BDO / WDF and Dutch Darts Association apply.
  2. b. There is an open pairs tournament on Friday that does not require any compulsory membership of any association.
  3. c. For the Single tournament for youth on Sunday afternoon, and the seniors (men and women) on Saturday and Sunday during the day, the direct knockout system will be played.
  4. d. It is not allowed to smoke and / or to drink (alcohol) at the venue in the hall. A warning is issued when this prohibition is ignored; in the second violation, the person concerned is irrevocably removed from the tournament and removed from the accommodation. This person will then not be admitted during the entire tournament weekend.

 

ARTICLE 5. TOURNAMENTAL RULES.

  1. a. The W.F.O.D has a subdivision into a Pairs tournament (men and women separated), Men and Women singles tournaments, a Saturday evening tournament, a paradarts- and specials tournament and a Youth Tournament.

ARTICLE 6. OBLIGATIONS PLAYERS FRIDAY EVENING.

  1. a. After calls by the tournament leader, players must go to the indicated lane. The former collects the group form or competition ticket. If a player does not come to the lane, the group form or game ticket is taken to the table where the player in question will be called. If the player does not yet come to the lane, he is called again with the announcement that the player must go straight to the lane. If this does not happen, the player will be removed from the tournament. This rule applies to both the pairing and single tournaments.
  2. b. The first matches must be written by the participant named by the tournament management at the request of the tournament management. In the case of a poule system by a player from the poule in question according to the indicated schedule on the poule form.
  3. c. Afterwards the winner must immediately and correctly communicate the result to the tournament management. The tournament management will take over the result entered by the writer / star on the competition form. This must be checked by the winner. If mistakes are made here, the tournament management is not responsible for this and can no longer be corrected. This also applies to the submitted poule form.
  4. d. The winner is responsible for correctly writing the next game on the lane where his / her or their match has been played. Until otherwise is reported by the tournament management.
  5. e. If the writing is transferred to another person, the person concerned must inform the tournament management stating the name of the replacement writer. However, if the latter is not on time at the lane and in this way impedes the tournament from taking place, the winner (s) who arranged the substitute will still be taken out of the tournament.
  6. f. If a player / pair waives his or her duty by not writing, or behaves improperly towards the tournament leader (s) or other players , the player or pair is immediately withdrawn from the tournament .
  7. g. If a player does not comply with the rules in accordance with the rules of the game, the head of the game management is authorized in consultation with the organization to remove the relevant player from the current tournament and to refuse it for the upcoming tournaments during this weekend. The organization is then not obliged to pay back the registration fee paid.
  8. h. The winner of the competition must return the competition ticket to the competition table.
  9. i. Players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult person. The organization has the right to inquire here during the tournament.
  10. j. The prize made available with regard to the first thrown 9 darter, will only apply if it is thrown during competitions that take place on the stage.
  11. k. For the final matches, played on stage, one must adhere to the general dress regulations of the NDB. There will be no rules for matches that are not played on stage, but football shirts are prohibited.
  12. l. Players who have reached the final and play on the stage are obliged to appear on the stage with a maximum of 3 sponsor names. These will be delivered before the start of this. The player must keep this correct. If one does not adhere to this rule, one can be refused and therefore not receive the prize money.

 

 

ARTICLE 7. OBLIGATIONS OF PLAYERS FOR THE RANKED PARTS.

 

  1. d. The winner is responsible for correctly writing the next game on the lane where his / her or their match has been played. Until otherwise is reported by the tournament management.
  2. e. If the writing is transferred to another person, the person concerned must inform the tournament management stating the name of the replacement writer. However, if the latter is not on time at the lane and in this way impedes the tournament from taking place, the winner (s) who arranged the substitute will still be taken out of the tournament.
  3. Indien een speler(ster)/koppel zijn/haar of hun plicht verzaakt door niet te schrijven, of zich onbetamelijk gedraagt ten opzichte van de toernooileider(s) of andere spelers/sters, wordt de speler/ster of koppel per direct uit het toernooi genomen.
  4. Als een speler zich niet aan de voorschriften houdt conform het wedstrijdreglement dan is het hoofd van de wedstrijdleiding in overleg met de organisatie gemachtigd de betreffende speler uit het lopende toernooi te halen alsmede te weigeren voor de komende toernooien gedurende dit weekend. De organisatie is vervolgens niet verplicht het betaalde inschrijfgeld retour te betalen.

  9. i. Players who have reached the final and play on the stage are obliged to appear on the stage with a maximum of 3 sponsor names. These will be delivered before the start of this. The player must keep this correct. If one does not adhere to this rule, one can be refused and therefore not receive the prize money.
  10. j. Players / stars who, according to the seeding of the BDO, are in the top 10 will be able to report at the entrance and have the option of entering the VIP section. This VIP access is personal and transferring it will result in withdrawal of access to this space. Players will receive an email the week before the start of the event.

ARTICLE 8. GAME TYPES.

Pairing tournament

 

  1. a. The form of play is as stated below, open start, double finish. Groups will be played in groups up to a maximum number of pairs to be determined later. There is no losers round when starting in groups.

With a larger number of pairs that will be determined later, Knock Out is played immediately. There must be a losers round. For the losers round only prize money is available in this format. This will be announced shortly before the start of the tournament.

The group matches will be played in the format 701 best of 3.

 

 

  • • The tournament format and program are subject to possible changes.

 

  1. b. The bull is thrown before the start of the match. When throwing the bull is first thrown by the former on the competition form. Of both pairs, 1 player throws. If both players have thrown the same distance from the bull, or have thrown a single or double bull, it must be thrown over, on the understanding that the other member of the pair throws and the pair who threw second in the previous attempt now serves first to start.
  2. c. When a decisive and final leg has to be thrown, there is no need to throw again for the bull.
  3. d. If the poule system is played first, the number 1 on the poule form of the group matches must ensure that it is brought to the table as quickly as possible after playing the last game. The pairs in question must themselves check whether the positions have been entered correctly and no changes can be made after submitting the group form. The position on the group form must be complete. In the case of incomplete forms, the entire poule will be withdrawn from the tournament.
  4. e. During the knock-out phase, the former must collect the note immediately after being called. And the winner must hand in the note immediately after the competition at the competition table. Once the competition ticket has been submitted, it is irrevocable and no further changes can be made. The winner must therefore check it himself.

 

Singletournament
boys and girls, men and ladies

 

  1. a. The form of play is as stated below, open start, double finish. Groups will be played in groups up to a later to be determined maximum number of players. There is no losers round when starting in groups.
  2. Bij een groter aantal deelnemers dan later zal worden bepaald wordt direct Knock out gespeeld. Er zal dan wel een verliezersronde zijn. Voor de verliezersronde is alleen in dit format prijzengeld beschikbaar. Dit zal vlak voor aanvang van de start van het toernooi worden bekendgemaakt.

Task writer / referee.

  1. a. The referee ensures that the throwing distance is correctly kept. If a player does not adhere to the official throwing distance after one warning, the referee may declare the throw invalid. This throw cannot be transferred. No appeal is possible.
  2. b. The referee remains motionless during the throw. He may not give directions.
  3. c. Only at the request of the player whose turn it is may the referee state how many points have been scored with one or more darts, or what the residual score is.
  4. d. The score may only be written after the player has thrown his three darts.
  5. e. No appeal can be made to the score achieved after the darts have been removed from the dartboard or after the next player has thrown his first dart.
  6. f. The writer / star is not allowed to eat or drink while writing the competition.
  7. g. The writer / star or referee is not allowed to write or take over a competition under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  8. h. In unforeseen circumstances, the writer can contact the tournament management.

Article 9. Doping and Drugs

Doping and drugs are not tolerated.

During the event you can therefore be checked for its use. The participant / star must fully cooperate with this. If it is determined that doping or drugs have been used, the person concerned will be taken out of the tournament immediately and all prize money won will be canceled.

 

ARTICLE 10. PRIVACY LAW.

 

Each participant automatically agrees with the AVG statement drawn up by the organization and thereby also gives permission for taking photos of video material or for using photos on the Facebook Twitter and Instagram website. If a participant (star) does not agree with this, he must indicate this in writing himself prior to the tournament.

Participants who are registered may also be used for advertising purposes, unless stated otherwise. If participants have not yet registered, the organization must request a signing statement for this, which must then be signed and returned to the foundation within 24 hours of application. This statement is then valid from 8 March 2020.

All the visual material (photo or film) that was made before 1 May 2018 can also be used freely by the foundation for all forms of promotion for the foundation. This cannot be invoked.

Niet toestaan van Beeld en video materiaal AVG 2020

 

<naam Persoon>> geeft hiermee geen toestemming voor het gebruik van foto en videomateriaal voor promotiedoeleinden voor de stichting West-Fries Darts.

Met het ondertekenen van deze verklaring verklaar ik, <NAAM>:

  1. Dat ik geen toestemming geef voor het gebruik van materiaal van film en foto welke in opdracht voor het West-Fries Darts wordt gebruikt.
  2. Dat het hierbij gaat om gebruik voor; poster, flyer, vlaggen, website, facebook, twitter en Instagram.

 

  1. Dat dit ook geldt voor promotiemateriaal.

 

  1. Dat deze verklaring geldig is voor de duur van 1 jaar na dagtekening van deze verklaring.

 

  1. Dat ik de stichting hiervoor niet zal aanspreken en/of verantwoordelijk kan houden als derde alsnog foto- of videomateriaal gebruiken;

ARTICLE 10. PRICES.

 

  1. a. The prizes will consist of predetermined amounts of money per tournament. This is different for all parts.
  2. b. The organization will also try to ensure that a special prize is available for the first 9 darts to be thrown during a match on stage in the single tournament.
  3. c. The prizes won at one of the two tournaments must be collected by the participant himself. The prize won must be collected the same day. If the prize is not collected on the day of the tournament, this prize will be canceled. The winner cannot claim this.
  4. d. The prize money up to and including € 250.00 will be paid in cash. All amounts above € 250.00 will be transferred by bank on the day of the event.
  5. e. Winners must collect the prize from the competition table themselves and, if applicable, the competition management will send the winner (s) to a special office where the transfer will be made.
  6. f. The winner must sign for receipt. If you do not sign, you will not receive the envelope. Signing must first take place after which the winner opens the envelope at the competition table and checks whether the amount is in the envelope that the winner has legally won. If there is a difference in this, the organization will supplement this at the competition table. If this procedure is deviated from and the envelope is not opened at the competition management at the table, the organization cannot guarantee this. The organization will then not make any reimbursement or supplement in this regard.
  7. g. In every part of the tournament, in addition to the cash prizes, one can compete for the exchange box in the pair, men's and women's tournament. The tournament winners are allowed to keep this exchange box in their possession until the next tournament. The name of the winner will be engraved on the plate on the base of the exchange cup. He / she must leave all correct details with the tournament management so that the exchange room can be brought back / brought back before the start of the next tournament. If someone wins the exchange cup 3 times in a row, he / she or the pair can keep the cup.

 

 

 

 

 

ARTICLE 11. FINAL PROVISIONS.

  1. a. The Organization can decide on a change in prizes and / or numbers of players placed and will always announce this prior to the tournament.
  2. b. In situations not covered by these regulations, the W.F.O.D board decides during the tournaments, the tournament management for ad hoc problems.
  3. c. These regulations were adopted on --------------------- 2019.
  4. d. In cases where the rules do not provide, the organization or competition management decides.
